Amanda Hamilton-Roos (She/Her)

Senior Director, Learning Design, Family Educator Partnerships at Springboard Collaborative

Over the past 20 years, Amanda Hamilton Roos taught in public schools, private schools, community centers, and libraries. She’s written hundreds of pages of literacy curriculum, published numerous articles on family engagement, and sent passionate letters to school boards.

But she’s also sat at the kitchen table and battled homework with her three children, and she knows the angst of seeing your child struggle to read. So for Amanda, the work to help teachers and families form partnerships is not abstract.

Amanda holds a BA from Duke University where she discovered her passion for education and literature. One of her favorite children’s books is Goodnight, Gorilla because it was the first book that made her babies laugh out loud.
