Emily McMillen (She/Her)

Emily McMillen has spent the last 15 years serving families, communities, and students in both Virginia and Tennessee as a teacher, instructional coach, and school administrator. Emily truly believes that through the work of the entire community lifelong success is possible for every student. Emily holds a B.A. in both Elementary Education and Women's Studies from the College of William and Mary as well as a Master's in Educational Leadership with a focus on Social Justice. Emily's favorite childhood book is Kate DiCamillo's The Tale of Despereaux, she cries every time she reads it “Because you ... can tell a story. Stories are light.
