Adriana Velez Thames

Adriana Velez Thames is a skilled data science professional and geophysicist with extensive experience in both fields. Currently serving as a Data Science Fellow at Springboard since April 2021, Adriana has completed over 550 hours of hands-on training, acquiring expertise in Python, SQL, data analysis, data visualization, hypothesis testing, and machine learning. Previously, Adriana held senior positions in geophysical analysis at TGS and ION Geophysical, where responsibilities included evaluating tools, conducting seismic processing, and creating workflows for data analysis. Adriana also served as a Senior Reservoir Analyst at Geotrace Technologies Inc., focusing on AVO gathers conditioning. Adriana obtained a Master's degree in Geophysics and Geology from the National Mineral Resources University and holds a certification from the Springboard Data Science Career Track.
