Matthew Cianciolo has held a variety of roles since 2008. Matthew started their career as a Barista at Black Dog Cafe in 2008. Matthew then worked as an English Teacher at ChildU English Academy in 2010 and at Moonkkang English Academy in 2011, where they were tasked with creating curriculum and content for students ranging from beginner to advanced levels. In 2016, they were a Junior Developer at Roundtable Development, LLC and a Full Time Student Studying Web Development at The Flatiron School. In 2017, they were a Junior Developer at BlastApp.io, where they built a history section of the application that allowed users to see previously completed quizzes and announcements, as well as a factory that would allow the sales team to quickly generate demo tenants with full statistics and example data. Since 2018, they have been a Software Developer at Springbot, where they have done full stack development using Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, Angular, and PostgreSQL, and researched and implemented changes to the site in compliance with GDPR laws for European customers. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at Calendly.

Matthew Cianciolo began their educational journey in 2004 when they attended Indian River State College and earned an Associate's Degree in General Studies. Matthew then transferred to the University of Central Florida in 2006 where they worked towards a B.S. degree in History. In 2007, they transferred to Florida State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences in 2009. In 2015, they attended the Flatiron School to pursue Web Development, but did not receive a degree.
