Marissa Epstein

Marissa Epstein is currently an advisor at Springdale Ventures. Marissa has previously served as the Director of the University of Texas Nutrition Institute and as the Administrative Director of Health Education, Engagement, and Promotion at Stanford Health Care. Marissa has also lectured on food, health, and nutrition entrepreneurship at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. Marissa's experience in both the business and academic worlds make their uniquely qualified to advise startups in the health and wellness space.

Marissa Epstein has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Certificate in Public Management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Marissa also has a Bachelor of Science - BS in Nutritional Science Honors with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin. In addition, they have a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Plan II Honors from The University of Texas at Austin and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from The University of Texas at Austin. Marissa is also certified by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
