Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Ministry of Sport and the University of South, Tavakoli's expertise includes analyzing consumer behavior in sports and tourism, as well as examining the impact of sports events on community development. Tavakoli is an active Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Physical Education and Sports Studies and the Journal of Physical Education and Sports Management, and also functions as a reviewer for multiple academic journals including Springer Nature and the International Journal of Sports Science.
