Pat Shively has extensive experience in education, serving as a Substitute Teacher for Springfield Local Schools since April 2015. Prior to this role, Pat was the Associate Director of the Center for Student Progress at Youngstown State University from August 2003 to September 2014. Pat's career in education began as an English Instructor at Mineral Ridge High School, where employment lasted from August 1992 to August 2003. Pat holds a Bachelor's degree in Education earned in 1990 and a Master's degree in English obtained in 1997, both from Youngstown State University, alongside training in Comprehensive Communications.
