Abe Edson

Abe Edson, MS, CSCS, PES, is an experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach with a robust background in professional hockey, currently serving the Springfield Thunderbirds since July 2020. Prior experience includes roles with the San Antonio Rampage and Prentiss Hockey Performance, along with an internship with the Bakersfield Condors, where Abe assisted in designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for athletes. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention from PennWest California and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Penn State University. Additionally, Abe has interned with various Penn State sports teams, providing coaching in Olympic and power lifting techniques to enhance athletes' strength and performance.
