Shannon King

Shannon King, JD has a diverse and extensive work experience. Shannon is currently serving as the Director of People and Culture for Studio & Production at The SpringHill Company since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a People Partner for Production HR at Warner Bros. Entertainment from 2021 to 2022. King also held the position of Human Resources Manager at Buchwald from 2020 to 2021. Before that, they worked as a Human Resources Specialist (Employee Relations) at Heal from 2019 to 2020. King's experience in the entertainment industry includes their role as a Senior Manager for Employee Relations at Lionsgate, where they conducted trainings, managed investigations, and ensured compliance with labor and employment laws. Additionally, they have served in various legal and compliance-related roles at DIRECTV, Civic Resource Group, and the Greater Cleveland Transit Authority. King began their career as a Social Worker at the Cuyahoga County Department of Children and Family Services from 2006 to 2011.

Shannon King, JD, received a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Justice Studies from Kent State University in 2006. Shannon went on to complete their Juris Doctor degree in Entertainment Law at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law from 2011 to 2014.
