Tina Dewitt

Tina DeWitt has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tina currently holds the position of Director of Business Office at Springhill Medical Center since March 2020. Prior to this, Tina worked at Dale Medical Center for a significant period. Tina started as a Patient Account Representative in October 2000, where they collected patient copays, coins, and deductibles, made payment arrangements with patients, and generated billing statements and collection letters. Later, they were promoted to the role of Business Office Director/Revenue Cycle specialist, where they supervised a team of eight staff members and oversaw insurance claims billing and Accounts Receivables & Collections. Tina held this position from October 2002 until their transition to Dale Medical Center in March 2018. At Dale Medical Center, they served as the Director of Revenue Cycle until March 2020. It is also worth noting that prior to their tenure at Dale Medical Center, Tina worked at the Town of Newton as the Town Clerk, Court Clerk, and Magistrate from October 1996 to October 2000.

From 1988 to 1990, they attended Troy University Dothan, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Accounting and Business/Management.

In 2019, Tina pursued further education at Columbia Southern University, where they earned a BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) degree with a focus on Finance.

Continuing their educational journey, Tina DeWitt then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Hospital and Health Care Facilities Administration/Management at Columbia Southern University from 2020 to 2022.
