William F. Dunbar

William F. Dunbar, Sr. is the Founder and Managing Partner of Dunbar Public Affairs & Associates, a bipartisan public affairs and strategic communications firm established in December 2012. In addition to this role, Dunbar serves as a Board Member for both Opera Philadelphia and Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, and as a Trustee at Lincoln University. Dunbar also holds the position of Co-Chair for the Inaugural Committee for Shapiro for Pennsylvania, and previously was a Democratic Nominee for State Representative for the 177th Legislative District. Dunbar's experience in public service includes a role as Deputy Chief of Staff/Special Assistant in the US Congress from January 2005 to January 2007. Educationally, Dunbar earned a Master's degree in Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science & Criminal Justice from Lincoln University.
