Katherine Kummerfeld

Katherine Kummerfeld is an experienced High School Science Teacher who has held various teaching and coaching roles across multiple schools. Currently employed at JAMES W MARTIN HIGH SCHOOL since July 2024, Katherine has also taught at Timber Creek High School and Springtown High School, where responsibilities included coaching soccer and volleyball. Previous experience includes a position as a Substitute Teacher at College Station ISD and as a Grade 8 Soccer Referee for Brazos Valley Referees. Earlier in their career, Katherine served as the Assistant Child Nutrition Director at BRENHAM ISD. Katherine earned a degree in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M University, completing studies in 2014.
