Ana Belen O.

Ana Belen O. has extensive experience in the medical field, with a focus on oncology and hematology. Ana Belen currently holds the position of Vice President of Medical Affairs at SpringWorks Therapeutics since December 2020. Prior to this, Ana worked at Eli Lilly and Company for several years, holding various roles including Clinical Development and Drug Life Cycle Senior Medical Advisor, Multi-compound Global/US Medical Affairs Lead, Global Medical Affairs and Development Strategy Lead for the Thoracic Malignancies Franchise, and US Thoracic Malignancies Lead. Before joining Eli Lilly and Company, they held the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Medical Oncology at the Denver Health Medical Center/University of Colorado Denver from 2013-2018. Ana also served as an Attending Physician in Medical Oncology/Hematology at Denver Health from 2007-2018. Additionally, they have experience working with Health Volunteers Overseas as the Director of the HVO/ASH Hematology Program. Ana has also held the position of Director of the Clinical Trials Program at the Denver Health Medical Center and completed their Medical Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Ana Belen began their medical career as an Internal Medicine Resident at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Ana Belen O. began their education in 1991 at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, where they obtained their MD in Medicine in 1998. Ana Belen then pursued further specialization, completing an Internist degree at Jackson Memorial Hospital from 2001 to 2004. Continuing their medical education, Ana Belen O. attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Specialist degree in Medical Hematology and Oncology.
