Bas Kentie

Bas Kentie has worked in a variety of roles in the legal sector since 2008. In 2008, they worked as a Supervisor at the Amsterdam Conference Centre Beurs van Berlage. In 2009, they worked as a Paralegal at Zacco. In 2010, they were a Board Member and Vice-President at the Juridische Faculteit der Amsterdamsche Studenten. In 2012, they completed an Internship at Fort Advocaten. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Paralegal and Associate | Lawyer at Houthoff. In 2019, they were a Contract Manager at Auckland UniServices Limited. In 2020, they were a Senior Legal Counsel (Lending) and Legal Officer (Commodities) at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. In 2021, they were a Legal Counsel at Mollie. Currently, they are the Head of Legal and Compliance at Sprinque.

Bas Kentie began their educational journey at Jan van Egmond Lyceum, where they obtained a Gymnasium degree between 2002 and 2008. Bas then attended the University of Amsterdam and obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree between 2008 and 2012. Following this, they attended the University of Amsterdam once again and obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Private Law between 2012 and 2013. Bas then attended the University of Cape Town and obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Trade Law in 2014. Additionally, they obtained a Legal English certification from Linklaters LLP in April 2010 and an Extra Talent-Project certification from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in April 2007.
