Gus Pernetz

Senior Vice President of Sports Operations-Advisor at Sprongo

Gus Pernetz has held a variety of roles in the sports industry. Gus began their career in 1989 as a Ski Instructor at Vail Resorts. In 1996, they became a Coach at Ski and Snowboard Club Vail. In 1998, they were a Private Coach for Erik Schlopy, assisting in driving their comeback from the pro racing tour to the U.S. Olympic team. In 2003, they became a Private Coach at MacDermid. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Senior Vice President of Sports Operations-Advisor at SPRONGO, where they worked to decrease additional work for instructors, trainers, and coaches. Lastly, from 2013 to the present, they have been the Co-Founder of STRYD, a power base training device for runners.

Gus Pernetz's education history includes attending Syosset High School from 1983 to 1986, Johnson State College from 1986 to 1989 to study Resort Management, Walt Disney University from 1988 to 1989, and Colorado Mountain Collage Glenwood in 2001 to pursue a Post degree in Criminal.
