Richard Wade P.eng.

Richard Wade P.Eng. has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry spanning over two decades. Richard has held various roles in different companies, demonstrating their expertise in operations, engineering, and leadership.

Their most recent position is as the Managing Director of Asset Management at Sproule, where they currently work. Prior to this, Richard served as the VP Operations at Inception Exploration Ltd from September 2019 to March 2021. During their time there, they oversaw surface land acquisition, drilling, completion, and work-over operations, and implemented innovative technologies to optimize production.

From 2013 to 2018, Richard was the President & Chief Operating Officer at Forent Energy Ltd., where they successfully refocused the company's strategic direction. Before that, they were the Country Manager - Canada and VP Engineering at Central Resources, Inc., where they played a crucial role in divesting corporate assets and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Richard also held positions at Lario Oil and Gas Company, Western Gas Resources Canada Co., Calver Resources Inc., Elk Point Resources Inc., and Mobil Oil, where they gained experience in engineering, operations, and project management.

Throughout their career, Richard has shown a strong ability to lead teams, drive operational efficiencies, and optimize asset value. Their work experience reflects their dedication to achieving success and delivering results in the oil and gas industry.

Richard Wade P.Eng. graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Regina in 1997. Additionally, they hold certifications in H2S Alive from Energy Safety Canada and is an Associated Professional Member (APM) of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Calgary Section. Richard is also a registered Professional Engineer (PEng) with The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
