Rebekah Russell

Rebekah Russell has held several positions in the past 13 years. In 2021, they were the COO and Chief Storyteller at Sprucely Designed, LLC, where they specialized in Content Marketing including SEO optimization, blog content, newsletters and email marketing. Rebekah also held the position of Analyst at Tambellini Group. In 2019, they were the Interim Assist. Vice President for Budget, Finance & Analytics at Western Kentucky University, where they modernized institutional budget and financial planning processes through technology improvements, established partnerships with the campus financial community, and implemented standard procedures. Additionally, they held the position of Budget & Finance Manager at the Division of Strategy, Operations & Finance at Western Kentucky University. In 2018, they were the Operations Manager at WKU Information Technology Services, where they partnered with all IT units to project spending, track personnel financial needs, and create strategic spending plans. In 2014, they were the Office Coordinator at Technical Support Services, where they provided excellent customer service and managed a overhaul of the student repair drop off process. From 2010-2014, they held two positions at The Honors College at WKU: Coordinator, Constituent Relations, and Office Associate. In 2008, they were the Office Manager at The Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana, where they maintained a constituent database of all girl and adult members and monitored an annual budget of over $80,000.

Rebekah Russell earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature/Letters from Western Kentucky University between 2004 and 2008. Rebekah then went on to receive a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Organizational Communication, General from the same university between 2012 and 2015.
