Steven McLean

Steven McLean has a diverse work history primarily in the field of physiotherapy. Steven has worked as a Physiotherapist at NHS Lothian, rotating through various departments before specializing in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Steven then worked as a Senior Rotational Physiotherapist at NHS Lanarkshire and subsequently as a Senior Physiotherapist at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, where they supervised junior staff and played a key role in implementing a gym-based referral scheme. In 2010, Steven started their own business, Optimal Physio, offering comprehensive physiotherapy services including treatment for musculoskeletal and sports injuries. Steven is currently working as the Head of Marketing at SPRY since 2023.

Steven McLean has an education history that includes obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science from Strathclyde University from 1999 to 2003.
