Gilles Baptiste

Gilles Baptiste has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles in the life sciences industry. Gilles began their career at Anjou Recherche as an R&D Engineer from 1997 to 1998. Gilles then joined Hemosystem as an R&D Engineer from 1998 to 1999. Gilles later joined Eppendorf Group, where they held various positions including Product and Application Specialist in Molecular Biology from 2000 to 2004, Product Manager in Automation from 2004 to 2011, Product Lines Manager in Automation and Molecular Technologies from 2011 to 2017, and Sales Manager in Europe for Automation from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Gilles is working at SPT Labtech as the Head of Sales for Europe, responsible for managing sales of liquid and sample handling solutions in the life sciences market. Gilles then transitioned to become the Area Head of Sales for South West Europe, overseeing sales and business development in that region.

Gilles Baptiste has pursued a comprehensive educational journey and obtained degrees in various fields of study. Gilles'seducation history begins in 1994 when they enrolled at USTL Université Montpellier 2 and completed a Maîtrise in Biologie Cellulaire et Physiologie animale in 1995. Following this, they joined Faculté de Pharmacie Université Montpellier 1 in 1995 and completed a DEA in Immunologie Immunotechnologie in 1996. Finally, Gilles attended Faculté des Sciences Saint Jérôme Marseille in 1996-1997 and earned a DESS in Biologie Biotechnologie.

In addition to their academic achievements, Gilles Baptiste has also obtained additional certifications to enhance their professional skills. Gilles obtained a certification in Sales Time Management from LinkedIn in July 2021 and a certification in Manager à distance from LinkedIn in March 2021.
