Alan Jones

Alan Jones is an experienced automation and control engineer with a diverse background in various engineering roles. Currently serving as an Automation Engineer at Au2mate since May 2023, Alan has held significant positions including PLC Software Developer and Engineer at SPTS from 2005 to the present. Previous experience includes a role as Bid Solutions Engineer at Schneider Electric in 2013, Commissioning Engineer at Thyssenkrupp Krause UK from February 2004 to August 2006, and Control & Technical Engineer at R F Brookes from October 1998 to August 2005. Alan's career began as an Electrical Engineer at Whitbread from August 1996 to July 2005 and as an Electrical Technician at Corus from August 1978 to July 1985. Alan holds a 2/1 degree in Engineering from the University of Wales, Newport, attained between 1996 and 2000.
