Katie Donohoe

Katie Donohoe joined the SpunOut team in June 2021 and is responsible for providing editorial direction to the creation and curation of SpunOut’s Voices section by working directly with young writers, creators, and advocates and supporting them in sharing their stories and viewpoints, as well as enhancing their skills.

Katie has a Masters in Multimedia from DCU and has previously worked as the Head of New Media for Ireland’s national LGBTQ+ press, GCN. She is interested in how they amplify diverse voices and tell stories through a constantly evolving mediascape to evoke empathy and understanding on a national and international scale.
