Ellie Johnston

Ellie Johnston currently serves as the Head of Counselling at Spurgeons since September 2023 and has held a Counsellor position at North Yorkshire Therapy since September 2009. Previous roles include Deputy Manager at Community Counselling and Therapy Lead at Manual. Ellie has extensive experience in the counselling field, having worked as Counselling Service Manager for Prostate Cancer UK and as a Mental Health Tutor at Skills Network. Additionally, Ellie worked at NHS as Undergrad Education Manager and served as Welfare Manager at Yorkshire Coast College. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Counselling from York St. John University, a Master of Science in Psychosexual Therapy from the University of Hull, a Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring, and a Master’s degree in Leadership, along with a Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Scarborough Hospital.
