Joe Merrill

Joe Merrill currently serves as the CEO of OpenTeams, focusing on fostering a revolutionary Open SaaS era. As a General Partner at SputnikATX, Joe invests in visionary founders through a pre-seed accelerator program. In addition, Joe holds board positions at Mod Tech Labs, a company specializing in 3-D technology for media, and Saveday, aimed at enhancing retirement savings accessibility. Joe is a Trustee at the University of the Potomac, contributing to the finance committee, and has previously consulted for Teza Technologies while serving on the Board of Directors for The STEM Academy. Joe's extensive experience includes cofounding SmartFunded, Inc. and Pan Am Education, the latter being a leader in online English education solutions. Joe earned an MBA with a focus on Finance, Strategy, and Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in East Asian Studies from the University of California, Davis.
