Marcos Frias

Marcos Frias has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Marcos began their career in 2006 as a Programming Intern at PowerDB, Inc., where they coded GUI features using C and C++. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Hardware Co-Op at Hewlett-Packard, where they conducted testing and certification for server hardware products.

In 2009, Marcos joined L-3 Communications as an Electrical Engineer 2B, involved in the development and testing of multi-sensor hardware. Marcos also served as a task leader, managing budgets, schedules, and team assignments.

From 2012 to 2016, Marcos worked as a Software Engineer at Cegal (formerly Blueback Reservoir), specializing in developing plugins for the Petrel application. Marcos applied SCRUM methodology and provided custom software services based on client needs.

In 2016, they joined LogicMonitor as a Solutions Engineer, implementing customers onsite and remotely for their SaaS solution. Marcos collaborated with a Fortune 1000 enterprise to create design specifications and developed customized solutions. In 2017, they transitioned to the role of Solutions Architect, responsible for scoping, architecture, and requirements creation for their Professional Services team. Marcos developed software solutions in various languages and worked with different IT infrastructure equipment.

Marcos's current role is as an Engineering Manager at SpyCloud, starting in 2022. Previously, they held positions as a Team Lead and a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the company's software development efforts.

Marcos Frias obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Texas A&M University. Marcos attended the university from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their degree, Marcos also obtained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in December 2012. Marcos also achieved the LogicMonitor Certified Professional certification, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
