Meredith Woodruff

Meredith served in the Central Intelligence Agency’s Clandestine Service, working for over twenty-five years in Central Eurasia, the Near East, Africa, and Europe. She served as a Chief of Station, as the Chief of Recruitment, Communications Officer, Deputy Division Chief, and as the first Chief of the Global Deployment Center. As a member of the Senior Intelligence Service, Meredith was deeply involved in leadership development, working particularly with women officers. She retired from the Clandestine Service in 2007 as its most senior female officer in operations, and is a recipient of both the coveted Donovan Award and its Distinguished Service Intelligence Medal.
