Bianca Batista

Bianca Batista is a Senior Lawyer at Squadron Energy since October 2025, bringing extensive experience in legal counsel and project management within the energy sector. Previously, Bianca served as a Senior Legal Counsel and the legal lead for Transgrid’s HumeLink project, one of New South Wales' largest energy infrastructure initiatives, from January 2022 to August 2025. Bianca's responsibilities included drafting construction contracts, handling property-related matters, addressing environmental issues, managing stakeholders, and overseeing construction delivery. Prior to Transgrid, Bianca held senior associate positions at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, Vincent | Young, and DLA Piper, and began a legal career as an Associate at Eversheds. Bianca holds an LLB (cum laude) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Law and Economics from the University of Johannesburg.
