Kathryn Sutherland

Katie is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner caring for individuals with mental health needs across the lifespan. Katie received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston and her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Northeastern University. Following her Undergraduate education, Katie earned her Master’s in Nursing from Regis College. In August 2022, Katie became board certified in psychiatric mental health and became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. In this role, she has worked in various levels of care including dual-diagnosis Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient and General Outpatient in addition to Detox and Clinical Stabilization Services. She has experience working across the lifespan with focused experience with adolescents and young adults. Her clinical interests include utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills to manage anxiety, depression, insomnia and substance use disorders.
