Jeff Dershewitz

Jeff Dershewitz has a long and varied work experience. Jeff started their career in 1998 as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia. In 1999, they joined Verizon Communications as a Business Analyst, where they were the project lead for conversion of small business accounts from the legacy billing system into a more advanced system. Jeff then moved to BearingPoint in 2004, where they developed a MS Access tool that saved approximately 220 analyst hours per month and wrote comprehensive user manuals and technical reference guides. In 2008, they took on a role as a Consultant at DeepMile Networks, LLC. From 2010 to 2014, they were a Sr. Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Jeff then moved to Square Peg Technologies, where they currently serve as Vice President of Operations.

Jeff Dershewitz has a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia, which they obtained in 1999. In 2019, they completed a Data Science Course from General Assembly. Jeff is currently enrolled in a Master of Science in Business Analytics at the University of Virginia, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Jeff has also obtained certifications from Databricks, DataRobot, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Tableau Software.
