Ilias Saghir

Ilias Saghir is a quantitative researcher at Squarepoint Capital since April 2022, having previously held a quantitative research internship at BNP Paribas focused on automated market making. Ilias also gained experience as a data science intern at Pledg, working on e-commerce credit scoring and payment default data analysis using feature engineering and machine learning methods. Earlier, Ilias served as a teaching assistant at the Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Machine Learning from ENS Paris-Saclay, a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Applied Mathematics from École Polytechnique, and preparatory classes in Mathematics and Physics at Lycée Moulay Youssef Rabat.
