Qianyue Zhang

Qianyue Z. is a Quantitative Researcher at Squarepoint Capital since August 2022. Previously, Qianyue served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Cambridge from October 2018 to August 2022, supervising MPhil research and departmental undergraduate courses in Engineering Maths and Corrosion & Materials. Qianyue completed a PhD in Process System Engineering at the University of Cambridge, focusing on the optimization and control of dynamic mixed-culture biological processes, and has research interests in optimization theory and machine learning. Additional experience includes roles as a Summer Associate at Goldman Sachs, a Data Scientist at UNCTAD, and an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover. Qianyue obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London from 2014 to 2018.
