Marc-Antoine Tardif

Marc-Antoine Tardif has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Marc-Antoine started their career as a Software Developer at CGI in 2010. Marc-Antoine then worked as a Software Developer at Auto123.com in 2011, primarily focusing on internal tools development. In 2012, they continued their software development work at auto123.com, this time focusing on web development using Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript.

In 2013, Marc-Antoine worked as a Software Developer at Guavus, where they gained experience in big data technologies, ETL, DevOps, Java, Python, Puppet, and Oracle. Marc-Antoine continued at Guavus from 2014 to 2016 as a Data Team Lead, managing a team of developers and building a big data ETL platform.

After Guavus, Marc-Antoine joined Squarepoint Capital in 2018, where they held multiple roles. Marc-Antoine initially served as a Senior Software Developer before transitioning to the role of Data Engineering Manager. In this role, they grew the data engineering team and expanded to new locations, focusing on building services and data pipelines for investment research, alpha generation, backtesting, and trading. Finally, Marc-Antoine currently holds the position of Head of Data Development at Squarepoint Capital, where they lead the Data Development technology group and oversees the systematization of data throughout its life cycle.

Throughout their work experience, Marc-Antoine has demonstrated expertise in data development, big data analytics, software development, and team management.

Marc-Antoine Tardif completed their Diploma of College Studies in Computer Science Technology from Cégep de Sherbrooke between 2006 and 2010. Marc-Antoine then pursued their Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering at École de technologie supérieure from 2010 to 2014. Later, they attained a Specialized Graduate Studies Diploma (DESS) in Software Engineering from the same institution from 2015 to 2018.
