Yassir Farchi

Yassir Farchi is a Quantitative Researcher at Squarepoint Capital since March 2023, previously serving as a Quantitative Analyst at Groupe BPCE, where responsibilities included analyzing credit risk and implementing a forward-looking probability of default model. Yassir held the position of Head of Finance at X-Finance, managing a team and engaging with financial institutions to enhance students' financial knowledge. Additional experience includes tutoring physics at Lycée Louis-le-Grand and volunteering as a STEM tutor for the Ministère de l'Éducation nationale. Yassir is pursuing a Master of Science in Mathematical and Computational Finance at the University of Oxford and holds a Master of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics from École Polytechnique.
