Yiran Cao

Yiran Cao is a Quantitative Researcher at Squarepoint Capital since April 2022, specializing in Global Macro strategies. Prior experience includes a role as part of the FX Quant Strategy team at Citi from April 2019 to March 2022, during which relocation from New York City to Hong Kong occurred in June 2021. Yiran also served as an Associate at Manulife from August 2016 to March 2018. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Mathematics with a double major in Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo. Additionally, Yiran is a candidate for a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Tsinghua University and holds a High School Diploma from Beijing No.4 High School.
