Vaughan Curd is a seasoned Technical Consultant and Web Development Team Lead at Squiz, where contributions to strategic business direction and fostering collaboration across teams have been pivotal since May 2008. Vaughan possesses extensive project management experience using both waterfall and agile methodologies, along with expertise in a diverse range of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various frameworks such as Angular and React. Prior to this role, Vaughan worked as a Senior Web Developer specializing in accessible and scalable website development for educational and public sector clients, as well as holding teaching positions in English as a second language throughout multiple institutions. Vaughan’s academic background includes a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Massey University.
