Rianne Wieringa

UX Designer at Squla

Rianne Wieringa has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. In 2014, they worked on a bachelor assignment at Benchmark Electronics, Inc., where they focused on redesigning a medical monitor user interface. From 2014 to 2016, they also served as a member of the evaluation committee of Industrial Design at the University of Twente. In 2016, Rianne co-founded Bulb Design, a design bureau specializing in graphic design, product design, 3D modeling, web design, and 2D animation. Rianne worked there until 2019. In the same year, they joined Reed Business Information NL as a junior UX designer. Rianne then moved on to Persoonlijk Proefschrift in 2016, where they worked as a graphic designer until 2017. Later, in 2019, Rianne joined Squla as a UX designer. Currently, they are working at Futurewhiz, the parent company of Squla, WRTS, and Scoyo, where they are involved in empowering children through personalized education.

Rianne Wieringa has a comprehensive education history in the field of design and engineering. Rianne obtained their Master's degree in Industrial Design Engineering from the University of Twente, graduating in 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design/Industrial Product Design at the same university, finishing in 2014. Rianne attended Wessel Gansfort College from 2005 to 2011, but their degree and field of study for that period are not specified.

In addition to their formal education, Rianne Wieringa has acquired various certifications related to user experience (UX) design and psychology of e-commerce. These certifications were obtained from The Interaction Design Foundation, including courses on dynamic user experience, gamification, visual perception and design, mobile UX design, information visualization, conducting usability testing, and user research methods and best practices. These certifications were obtained between the years 2017 and 2020.
