Ana María Castellano Salto has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Ana María started their career at the International Council on National Youth Policies (ICNYP) and UNIDO as an intern. Ana María then worked as a Trainee in Risk Management at Coface en España and as a Finance Administrator at bwin.party digital entertainment.

In 2007, Ana María joined Ernst & Young J&M Management Consulting GmbH as a Senior Management & SAP Consultant, where they gained experience in project management, SAP ERP Finance & Controlling implementation, customizing, FICO integration, data migration, and authorization concept. Ana María stayed with the company until 2011.

Ana María then worked as a Program Manager at Prolavie / Fundacion Bosques and as an SAP Finance Consultant at Thomas Cook Group in 2012 and 2013, respectively.

From 2014 to 2017, Ana María held roles at Thomas Cook International AG, including Financial Reporting Officer and Head of Accounting.

In 2017, Ana María founded Color Andaluz, where they worked as a Founder until 2021.

Most recently, Ana María has been working at SR Technics Group since 2019. Ana María has held various roles including Senior Group Controller, Head of Group Reporting, Head of Group Controlling and Reporting, and currently, Head of Group Finance. In their current role, they lead the Accounting, Group Controlling and Financial Reporting teams, as well as finance transformation and digitalization initiatives. Ana María is also the Finance Process owner and Finance lead in the S4/Hana implementation program.

Ana María Castellano Salto has a diverse education history. In 2000-2004, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Management and Administration at Universidad de Granada. During their time at the university, they also received an Erasmus Scholarship to study Betriebswirtschaft at the University of Vienna in 2003-2004. In 2001-2002, Ana María received another Erasmus Scholarship, this time to study Commerce at University College Cork. Ana María continued their education in 2005-2006 by completing a Postgraduate Master's program in International relations & Foreign Trade at Aliter Escuela Internacional de Negocios. Fast forward to 2010, they obtained a specialization in Planning and Management of Development Cooperation Interventions through a program offered by Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos and Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia. Lastly, in 2022, Ana María earned a Certificate in Digital transformation from IMD.
