Dr. Sandip Bhattacharya

Dr. Sandip Bhattacharya is a highly experienced academic holding the position of Professor and Associate Dean at the School of Engineering at SR University since February 2021, where also serves as the Head of the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Hiroshima University and a Research Intern at Micron Technology. Dr. Bhattacharya has held several academic positions, including Assistant Professor at Bengal College of Engineering and Technology and Guest Lecturer at the University Institute of Technology, The University of Burdwan. Early career experience includes software development roles at Indus Net Technologies and CMC LTD. Dr. Bhattacharya holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, a Master of Technology from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering from The University of Burdwan.
