Bill Ward

Bill Ward has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Bill began their career as a Nuclear Reactor Operator in the US Navy, where they were responsible for operating the nuclear reactor control system. Bill then worked as an Electronic Technician in the same organization.

After leaving the Navy, Bill joined National Systems Corp as a Project Manager and Network Engineer, where they managed teams and oversaw the software lifecycle for the company's Point of Sale application.

Bill then moved on to working at Aladdin Knowledge Systems as a Sales Engineer, where they collaborated with sales and technical teams, conducted on-site presentations, and provided support in pre- and post-sales activities.

Following that, they worked at Accuvant as a Security Engineer, Cornerstones of Trust as a Conference Manager, and Burlingame Neighborhood Network as an Emergency Planning Board Lead.

Bill's most recent roles were at Going Nowhere, where they served as a Participant Wellness Meta-Lead, and at SRI International, where they held various positions including Information Security Operations Lead, Chief Information Security Officer, and currently, Sr. Director of Institute Technology Operations.

Bill Ward attended the University of San Francisco from 2008 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BS-IS). Bill also holds a certification in CISSP from (ISC)².
