Daniel Cohen is a Senior Education Researcher at SRI International since July 2022, following a four-year tenure as an Assistant Professor at The University of Alabama. Prior to this, Cohen completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Missouri Prevention Science Institute and gained experience as an intern with the Boone County Schools Mental Health Coalition. Cohen's research background includes positions as a Graduate Research Assistant at both the Missouri Prevention Center and the University of Missouri, as well as a Research Assistant at UCLA. Daniel Cohen earned a PhD in School Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from The Johns Hopkins University, and a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, specializing in child and adolescent depression and suicide prevention research.
