Zak Weiler

Zak Weiler's work experience begins in 2013, where they worked at SRI International in various roles. Zak started as a Senior Analyst and managed a team of analysts to develop go-to-market plans for SRI-developed technology. Zak then became a Business Development Manager, where they managed partner relations and worked on over 50 projects worth $100+ million in commercial value. Later, Zak worked as a Senior Solutions Architect, solving business problems for Global 1000 companies by defining the technical approach for robotics and artificial intelligence projects. More recently, they served as the Head of Business Development - Computing Sciences, leading a team that identified market needs and created new products using SRI breakthrough technologies.

In addition to their work at SRI International, Zak served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserve starting in 2018. Prior to that, they had roles at UC San Diego as a Resident Advisor and a member of the Student Fee Advisory Committee.

Zak Weiler obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from UC San Diego, from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, Zak has obtained certifications in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera, Wilderness First Responder from NOLS Wilderness Medicine, and a Product Management Certificate from Product School.
