Madhawa Rathnayake

Madhawa Rathnayake is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in insurance and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Insurance Financial Consultant at Sri Lanka Insurance since December 2018, Madhawa specializes in providing professional insurance advice for both life and general insurance. Prior experience includes working as a Quantity Survey Engineer with Bechtel & Co. LLC and Enka & Co. LLC Joint Venture, contributing to the construction of the Muscat International Airport. Madhawa also served as a Lieutenant in the Sri Lanka Army, where involvement in significant infrastructure development occurred following the civil war, and held the position of Engineering Executive at Dialog Axiata PLC. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Disaster Analysis Management and Mitigation from the University of Colombo, along with a National Diploma in Engineering Sciences focused on Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
