Cristian Pereira

Cristian Pereira is a Principal Hydrogeologist at SRK Consulting, with extensive experience since April 2007. At SRK Consulting, Cristian specializes in numerical groundwater modeling, particularly using Modflow, and has developed hydrogeological conceptual and numerical models tailored to the mining industry, addressing dewatering, environmental impacts, permitting, and mine closure. Cristian has also led brine extraction projects for lithium and served as a business unit manager from January 2015 to December 2017. Prior to this role, Cristian worked as a Hydrogeologist Consultant at CPH Consultores LTDA from December 2002 to March 2007. Cristian holds a degree in Geology from Universidad de Chile, completed between 1992 and 1999.
