Oy Leuangthong

Oy Leuangthong is a seasoned geostatistics professional with over 20 years of experience in academia and consulting. Currently serving as a Corporate and Principal Consultant in Geostatistics at SRK Consulting since April 2012, Oy previously held roles as a Senior Geostatistician at SRK Consulting (Canada) Inc. and as an Assistant Professor in Mining Engineering at the University of Alberta, where responsibilities included geostatistical research and teaching various mining-related subjects. Oy’s academic background is firmly established with a PhD in Mining Engineering focused on Geostatistics from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto.
