Richard Hart, PMP, has a wealth of experience in engineering and project management roles in the medical devices industry. In their most recent position as the Director of Research Development at SRS Medical, they collaborated with the CEO, Marketing, and Sales leadership to develop a corporate strategic roadmap. Richard led engineering teams in the design, development, validation, and release of flagship bladder analyzer and other medical devices.
Prior to that, Richard worked at Haemonetics, where they were the Senior Manager of Advanced Engineering. In this role, they managed and mentored engineering teams, led cross-functional teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, and was responsible for the technology transfer of manufacturing. Richard also served as the Manager of Electrical Engineering, where they managed domestic and offshore project teams and developed complex test verification protocols.
Before joining Haemonetics, Richard gained experience at LTX-Credence as a Program Manager and Engineering Manager in the R&D department. Richard also worked at StepTech as the Director of Applications Engineering and at Analogic as a Design Engineer early in their career.

Richard Hart, PMP, received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Northeastern University, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. In 2006, they completed a Certificate Program in Project Management at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. The following year, Richard enrolled in another Certificate Program at the same institute, focusing on Leadership & Management Development, which they completed in 2008.
Additionally, Richard holds several certifications. In 2008, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Richard also acquired certifications in Financial Analysis: Making Business Projections and Scrum: The Basics from LinkedIn in November 2020.
