Banina Salkagic

Banina Salkagic currently serves as the Head of Network Connectivity at SSAB Group IT Operations, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this role, Banina was the HSE Manager at Northvolt from November 2022 to May 2023. Banina's extensive experience at SSAB includes roles such as Avsnittschef Format and Verksamhetsutvecklare for Management Systems Development within SSAB One, as well as working as an Ingenjör focused on arbetsmiljö (work environment) from July 2010 to November 2022. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Mälardalen University, completed in 2009, and studies at Haraldsbogymnasiet from 2001 to 2004, culminating in a degree from the Natural Science program. Additionally, Banina conducted a research project at Karolinska Institutet in 2009.
