Janne Pirttijoki is an experienced executive in the steel industry, currently serving as the Head of BU Finland and Managing Director at SSAB Europe Oy since 2021. Prior to this role, Janne held several leadership positions, including President of Business Area Bar Imatra at Ovako Group, and Head of Tubes and Sections at SSAB. Janne's extensive career at Rautaruukki Oyj includes roles as Senior Vice President for Tubes & Profiles and Products, and Vice President in various divisions. Janne holds an M.Sc. in Engineering and an eMBA in Strategy from Tampere University of Technology, along with additional qualifications in Safety and Production Management.
