Jarkko Matkala

Jarkko Matkala is an accomplished professional in the steel production industry, currently serving as Vice President of Hot Rolled Plate and Strip Products at SSAB Europe since September 2014, where responsibilities include site management in Raahe. Prior to this role, Jarkko held various positions at Rautaruukki Oyj from May 1997 to August 2014, culminating in the role of Production Director for steel production. Jarkko's extensive experience encompasses roles in production management, engineering, and quality assurance, highlighting a strong background in continuous casting and development engineering. Jarkko Matkala holds a Master of Science degree in Process Automation from the University of Oulu, alongside a Six Sigma Black Belt certification obtained between 2004 and 2005.
