Mika Hautala

Mika Hautala is an accomplished Director of Production at SSAB, with extensive experience in production operations, process development, and quality management for coated products. Since October 2014, Mika has led efforts in safety management, continuous quality improvement, production stability, and technology development, with a strong focus on sustainability and cost efficiency. Prior roles at Ruukki Metals Oy included responsibilities as Director of Production Management and Process Development, overseeing a team of approximately 50 experts and managing production planning and quality for cold rolled and coated products. Mika's educational background includes a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Tampere University of Technology and various executive trainings in leadership and manufacturing.
