Shannon Thornton

Shannon has worked for SSC/Compass Group since 1991. During that time, she has held positions in operations, finance, training, talent acquisition, and as an HR generalist. The combination of positions she has held with the company gives her a unique advantage because she understands the goals and structure of each department. In her current role, she partners with Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to provide excellent service to our clients. As a member of the executive committee of the Education Diversity and Inclusion Action Council, she helps develop and deploy the sector’s D&I strategic plan. Outside the office, Shannon loves exploring Caribbean beaches and cultures with her husband.
