Mohammed Shoubaki

Mohammed Shoubaki has extensive experience in energy engineering, currently serving as an Energy Performance Engineer at SSE Energy Solutions since August 2022, where responsibilities include developing distributed energy systems projects and supporting engineering tasks for large buildings and campuses across the UK. Previously, Mohammed worked as an Energy Engineer at Arup, contributing to a public sector heat decarbonisation study and supporting building performance analysis. Earlier roles included a Junior Energy Consultant at The Carbon Trust, focusing on decarbonisation projects for the Welsh Government, and positions in solar PV design and engineering during internships and placements. Mohammed holds a Master of Science in Renewable Energy from Newcastle University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Energy Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University.
